Palma International Boat Show is host once again to the third edition of the Boat Show Investment Forum. This is an investment forum aimed at entrepreneurs or start-up projects (with fewer than two years) and companies undergoing a growth phase (with more than two years) related to the boating sector who are seeking private capital investment.

The Boat Show Investment Forum is organised by the IDI in conjunction with Keiretsu Forum, one of the largest private investor networks in the world.

The objective of this event is to evaluate the entrepreneurial projects and give them greater visibility whilst also boosting investments in the nautical sector, offering start-ups a space where they can present their project to a quality public and where opportunities may arise to promote their company.

The 3rd Boat Show Investment Forum will take place on Monday 29th April at 6.00 pm in Astilleros de Mallorca (Contramoll-Mollet, 11, Palma).

We are looking for entrepreneurs and companies that meet the following criteria:

  • Companies with business or core markets related to sailing in the broadest sense: ICT, apps, energy, port management, infrastructures, materials, engines, smart fabrics, sails, etc.
  • Companies that invoice or are in the marketing stage.
  • Company value less than 2 million euros.
  • Companies seeking a financing round of private capital of between 50,000 and 500,000 euros.
  • Staff of more than one person.

We are also looking for private investors and business angels who want to improve their skills and knowledge. We are offering a free training course, financed by the Regional Ministry for Work, Trade and Industry, given by top-level instructors from the Keiretsu Forum.

The purpose of the course is to help private investors optimise their time and financial resources to tackle the evaluation process and negotiation of investment opportunities with entrepreneurs in the most professional and efficient way.
